Pitching:
Brice Clark brings the Mothmen up for their second tournament of the season. Clark was the go-to guy on the rubber in the Battle in the Burg. He went 30 innings, and posted a 1.00 ERA, which sits at second in the league at the moment. Clark will throw the majority of innings for the Mothmen, in all likelihood they’ll be from the fast pitch rubber. t. Wyatt Zuspan threw in their lone medium pitch game last outing and Tyler Roush tossed one clean inning back in early June, as well.
Hitting:
Last tournament the Mothmen did not record their first hit until after pool play. Expect things to change this time around. With a medium pitch heavy field, the offense will be in full force for the Red and Green. Bracket play starts right away so they will have to have the bats working early. Each of the trio had a home run in their first tournament, Roush led with three, Clark had two, and Zuspan one. Tyler Roush is the leading hitter on the team, entering the Season Finale with a .250 average.
