PLAYER OF THE WEEK
The Week 2 Player of the Week is ... Cayden Laskosky from the Ball Busters.
Laskosky went 10-for-19 (.526) with seven home runs in a 3-0 week for the Ball Busters ... Laskosky hit four home runs and was 5-for-5 with four walks in the win over the Splunkers to give them their first loss of the season and put the Ball Busters in a tie for first place after two weeks of play.

The Chefs took down the Space Cowboys and the Replacements before dropping their first game to the Splunkers in a matchup of two teams tied for the top spot. The Chefs will take on the Roman Noodles in the Game of the Week airing on Wednesday.

The Splukers continued their winning ways beating the Lumberjax and Chefs in two one-run games. Austin Abel tossed five scoreless innings and Aidan Miller hit the game-winning home run against the top-dog Chefs. However, as the long the lone remaining unbeaten the Splunkers dropped their last game of Week 2 to the Ball Busters.

The Ball Busters went unbeaten in Week 2, taking down High Heat, the Lumberjax and Splunkers. Cayden Laskosky, who hit four home runs in the win over the Splunkers is third the WILL in slugging (1.677) and OPS (2.353).

Prestige World Wide opened up Week 2 in dominant fashion with a 16-0 win over the Valley Boys. Prestige would then lose to the Space Cowboys, the Bees and the Replacements. Prestige has been the lumber company this season with Will Taczak (14), Tyson Mead (10) and Kolton Smittle (10) being first and tied for third in home runs this season. Taczak also pitched a four-inning no-hitter vs the Valley Boys and would’ve had a perfect game if not for Ryan Bioni’s walk.

Oakdale beat the Lumberjax and High Heat in Week 2, scoring 23 runs over the two games. Johnny Dragisich hit five home runs in Week 2, a part of Oakdale’s 10 bombs. Oakdale also tallied 13 hits in each of its two games.

The Lumberjax beat Canonsburg and the Roman Noodles in Week 2 before dropping three consecutive games to the Splunkers, Ball Busters and Oakdale Curve. The 'Jax outscored their opponents 16-3 in their wins and were outscored 27-15 in their three losses.

The Noodles went winless in Week 2, losing to the Lumberjax and the Replacements. The Noodles never scored fewer than five runs in their three Week 1 matchups, all of which were wins. They scored a total of four runs in Week 2. The Noodles will battle the first-place Chefs in the Game of the Week airing on Wednesday.

The Replacements, a three-man squad for the week, beat the Noodles and Prestige World Wide on the bookend of a loss to the Bees in Week 2. Chris Sarnowski is sixth in the WILL in home runs with nine. Josh Clopp and Dom Eannace both hit their first home runs of the season this week. Eannace's came in game-winning fashion to lead off the fourth in the nightcap win over Prestige (2-1).

The Bees found their form that made them champions in 2022 & 2023 in Week 2, winning all three of their games and scoring double digit runs in every game. The Bees dropped a season-high 17 runs on the Space Cowboys and 10 runs on both Prestige World Wide and the Replacements. Castelli and Licht both hit seven home runs for the week.

The Caucasians lost to the Lumberjax and High Heat with a victory over the Valley Boys in between. Brett Carosone pitched five strong innings in a 7-2 win over the Valley Boys, while brother and team captain Adam Carosone hit three homers.

The Valley Boys dropped their two games in Week 2 to Prestige World Wide and the Canonsburg Caucasians. The Boys were no-hit in a 16-0 loss to Prestige. Austin Berger hit a home run in the loss to Canonsburg.

The Space Cowboys sandwiched a win over Prestige World Wide between losses to the Bees and the Chefs. While the Bees ran hog-wild over the Cowboys, the Cowboys had a positive run differential (+2) in their games with Prestige and the first-place Chefs. Zeke Daure threw a complete game and Cre Gardner hit two home runs in the Space Cowboys' first win of the season over PWW.

High Heat picked up its first win of the season over the Canonsburg Caucasians in Week 2 before falling to the Ball Busters and the Oakdale Curve. Isaac Rodgers pitched a five-inning shutout against the Caucasians.
