Steven Keelon

Steven Keelon joins the newly formed League Committee after being a host of the WILL N'at Podcast, a Gameday Operations Coordinator, and a media man for the Waves. 

 

In 2017, Keelon traveled with the WILL Waves to the NWLA National Tournament in Morenci, Michigan to serve as the Waves media man. He kept fans updated at home, throughout the tournament with twitter updates and helped set up live streams by the team. He was also in charge of taking pictures for the Observer-Reporter news article on the team's play at the National Tournament.

During the 2018 and 2019 seasons, Keelon served as a Gameday Operations Coordinator. In this role he helped coordinate umpires and scorekeepers for games, set up and clean up of fields, total the stats. He generally assisted the Commissioner and other Gameday Operations Coordinators to oversee all aspects of gamedays.

Keelon was a co-host of the WILL N'at Podcast during the 2018 season with Jacob Davey. The season featured four episodes and averaged 56 listeners per show.

In events that the Commissioner, could not be at a game, Keelon was one of the first to call to run the games that day. He successfully put on multiple early round playoff matchups in 2017 and 2018.

As a member of the League Committee, Keelon will focus on team and player recruitment for league events. He will also have a vote on all league matters, including rules, dates, formats, and any other proposed items by committee members. The League Committee meets once a month in the offseason and before each gameday during the season.
