Rules/Format
Format:
Week 1, 2, and 4 will be round-robin play, as each team plays every league opponent once ... Week 3 will split teams into two (2), six (6) team seeded brackets based on the current standings as they battle for points.
Regular Season Points:
Weeks 1, 2, & 4: 1 point for a win, 0 for a loss, 0.5 for extra inning loss.
Week 3: Group winner (5), runner-up (4), 3rd (3), 4th (2), 5th and 6th (0)
Playoffs:
The top 10 teams (based on points/tiebreakers) will make the playoffs and be seeded 1 through 10, with the one seed having the most regular season points and the 10 seed having the least.
Seeds 8, 9, and 10 will play a ladder bracket. Winner of ladder bracket is the 8 seed in playoff bracket. Teams will be split into two, 4 team double elimination brackets. Seeds 1v8 and 4v5 in Bracket A and 2v7 and 3v6 in Bracket B are the first round matchups, then bracket will play out. Seed closest to 1 is the home team for all games except bracket final. In bracket final winners bracket team is home first, losers bracket team will be home in if necessary game.
The two bracket winners will play a best-of-three championships series.
