WILL Registration Closes, Six Teams Competing In 2019

Updated: Dec 20, 2020

The Wiff is Life League (WILL) is just over 1 week from Opening Day. Registration has concluded and the league will have six teams competing for the title in 2019.

The six teams include, the back to back to back champions and the back to back runner ups. Both teams though have some roster edits however. Jordan Castelli enters year two heading Booze on First. Jake Davey has departed Booze and created the Pittsburgh Plumbers. Adam Carosone captains the Beavers for year 5 of their team. The Roman Noodles are back, along with the Splunkers. Roman Noodles are led by Matt Cottrill, while Aidan Miller is in charge of the Splunkers. Lastly, Steven Keelon uses a mixture of homegrown and outside talent to create 100 Thieves.

All the teams will have a season preview article, served by Lovie’s Frosty Twist, coming out before Opening Day.

The rosters and schedules for all the teams are out and can be found on their team page. Team pages can be found under the ‘2019 Season’ tab and click on ‘Teams’, or click here.

Opening Day is Sunday, June 2nd. It is a tournament day, so it will feature a double elimination tournament between all six teams. For all 3 tournament days this year the matchups will be drawn randomly, live on Instagram, 1 week before the games.

Be sure to follow the WILL all year long on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram (@wiffislife). Subscribe to our YouTube channel by clicking here and download the league calendar to your phone by clicking here.

Save the date for Buffalo Wild Wings Night, a fundraiser for the WILL, on Tuesday, June 4th at the Washington Buffalo Wild Wings.
