OTHER NOTES:
The venues for the 2018 Season were released and the main field is planned to be the playoff venue for the past 2 years, Pleasant Valley Fields. The 5th Season of the WILL, will also feature games at Hills Hendersonville Field, which was the home to Opening Day of the 2016 season. Lastly, there will be a handful of games to be played at Klinger Park, which is a new field to the WILL's repertoire and was quoted by the Commissioner as being "a venue similar to Hills (Hendersonville Fields)". The WILL cut ties with North Strabane Park and Falconi Fields for regular season games for this summer. As for Falconi, the venue will be a key factor in hosting tournaments in Canonsburg, but "wasn't the best fit" for regular season games to be played at, said Davey. He had no comment on the cut ties with North Strabane Park.
In the WILL Media Department, they are planning big things for the 2018 Season. This season is the first for the newly named League Media Team Personnel. The WILL N'at Podcast will be returning for its second year, their may be a host switch up though. An emphasis was mentioned to be put on the league's YouTube page, which has been virtually non-existent the past 4 years. The first YouTube content planned to improve the page, is a biweekly video recap of what is happening in the league. More is set to be put together by the media team and will be released as ideas are confirmed.
