Nate Morris

League Committee

Nate Morris accepted his first front office position for the WILL, when he joined the League Committee in 2020. Without an official title before, he was still very active in the league.

In 2017, Morris was the host of the WILL N'at Podcast. It was the first podcast ever by the WILL and he had two shows get over 90 listeners.

Throughout all of his years in the league, Morris has been a guy that can be relied upon to umpire and stat games when needed. He has lent his hand in the set up and tear down of fields as well. Prior to the Mid Atlantic Wiffle Canonsburg Classic that the WILL hosted in August of 2018, he was instrumental in preparing the fields.

Morris was a co-tournament director, with Jacob Davey, for the Wiffle Ball Tournament Benefiting Mitch Barton that the WILL hosted. A friend of the league, Mitch Barton was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer, and the tournament raised funds for him to battle the disease. Morris helped in all aspects of the tournament and made it a success. The tournament ended up raising over $3,500, all of which given directly to Mitch and his family.

As a member of the League Committee, formed in 2020, Morris will be instrumental in the scheduling of the event, including the making of brackets, divisions, etc. He will also have a vote on all league matters, including rules, dates, formats, and any other proposed items by committee members. The League Committee meets once a month in the off season and before each game day during the season.

Morris is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg and currently is employed by NBS Scientific.
